Amelia & Karls beautiful wedding at Haughley Park was so much fun, and so full of love!
Here's a little more about their day..
We got married at Haughley Park Barns and it was perfect for us as we both love being outside and the surrounds of the barn are just beautiful. We could also have the barn to ourselves and it was a blank canvas to do what we wanted. We also had lots of children attending the wedding so the grounds were perfect for them.
Our vision for the wedding was relaxed! We just wanted everyone to enjoy the day, eat good food, chat and have fun. We really didn't want any formalities and it was perfect. The most important thing was that we got to spend the day with our family and friends.
We wanted a country look to our wedding so we went with lots of hessian, jam jar flowers and little lovebirds dotted about. My husband and 2 best men wore tweeds and bridesmaids were in beautiful complimentary dresses. We arrived to the wedding on a tractor and beaters cart which was just brilliant.
The catering was with a local lady, Andrea. She made us the most amazing afternoon tea and quite possible the best naked 3 tier wedding cake ever. It was just delicious. The afternoon tea was perfect and suited all the age ranges that attended. I think my little boy was fuelled on cake for the whole day! Andrea made a wonderful hog roast in the evening and that too was wonderful.
We chose Beckie as our photographer as firstly she was highly recommended, secondly, I love her relaxed style and thirdly, she is just so lovely to be around. I don't particularly like having my photo taken and she made it all so easy.
